LINDA THOMPSON, CDPT and Director of Transportation at Lee's Summit School District, is retiring at the end of this school year after a 27 year career in pupil transportation.  Linda began as a bus driver in 1987 and progressed through the ranks.  She has been at Lee's Summit for the past eight years, six of those years as the Director.  Linda has served several terms as a Regional Director of M.A.P.T., and served an extended term as the state President, extending her term when the president-elect chose to retire and move out of state.  Linda and her husband John enjoy fly fishing and plan to travel and camp in their travel trailer as well as spend more time with their three grandchildren.

KEITH HENRY, Director of Transportation at Independence School District, has been hired by the Board of Education at Lee's Summit as their new Director of Transportation, replacing Linda Thompson, who is retiring.  Keith will assume his new duties on July 1, 2014.  Keith is a Certified Director of Pupil Transportation (CDPT) and is also the President-Elect of the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT).
